Sim swap on iPhone 5

Hello, I am switching contracts from 24months to 12 months now that I can upgrade. Keeping phone but changing tariff. Have new micro sim and know how to swap but do I need to take steps in order NOT to lose any data or contacts??? Thank you for advising.

Everything including data and tariff will be transferred over. Your contacts should be backed up to itunes or icloud so you should lose nothing at all as long as you have backed up previously.

As your keeping your phone theirs nothing you'll need to carry out.

Your tariff should just change so their should be no reason to sim swap either.

The iPhone takes a nano SIM card.
