You have to set up a direct debit when you take a new contract.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

What exactly is the problem and why don't you use a direct debit as you agreed?

Must be a problem unique to the OP. Probably only had problems since cancellation of the direct debit. What are the other problems that you are having?

I have been having the same issues with o2 and their online payment not working for months! Never used a direct debit in all the time I've been with them. I've got in touch with customer service many times but they kept telling me it's all on my end and there's no issues with their system. I'm glad to know it's not just me that's having problems, hope you get it sorted soon, I've got one more bill and that's me gone from this awful network for good slight_smile

That's odd as it's part of your contract that you pay that way, so you must have cancelled it.

Nope I never set up a direct debit and I'm pretty sure after being on this particular contract for over 2 years I would have noticed by now...

That's really strange, never heard of someone taking out a contact without DD... It's mandatory at the outset...
