Refresh and what Airtime & Device Plan means.

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi.
I'm considering upgrading (Refreshing) to the following:
Nokia Lumia 735 Green
24 Months
500 minutes
Unlimited texts
500MB mobile internet data

It has a monthly payment of £21, split by:
Airtime Plan - £13
Device Plan  - £8

My question is, when the 24 month period has passed, do I OWN the mobile outright, with no further expenses to pay?
If not what is the settlement cost to own the mobile?

Thanks,
Tom.

The answer to your question is yes, you would own the phone after 24 months. You could also choose to pay off the device plan part during any time of that 24 months, if you wanted to upgrade.

As per @Bambino 's answer. You are basically taking out a hire purchase/loan to buy the phone from O2. Over two years the phone will cost you £192.

I did see one 'sim free' in cpw for £180. Although only a small (£12) saving, if you can afford to buy the phone outright you may find that you can choose a sim-only airtime plan that's better value etc. Just a thought.

If you are happy with the offer, then Refresh seems to work quite well for most people though. I'm just pointing out an option. wink

You will own the mobile outright once you have come to the end of the contract.

That is an excellent deal for the 735 - Super phone that is and I'm looking to get one for my lad.
As I'm currently paying £11.00 a month for a simo for him it would only be an additional £10 for the phone too slight_smile
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
