I have not used my pay as you go mobile phone number for quite a few months. It now no longer works. How do I re-activate it so that I can use my number again. I even had 10 pounds talk time left on it.

You may not be able to, as your number can be recovered and used again if unused for 6 months.

Thank you for that. I had a feeling that may be the case but was hoping I was wrong. If I dial my old number I just get the message 'The person you are phoning can't take your call, we will send them a text to tell them you have rung'.

Same thing happened to me with Vodafone, and they made £16 out of me!

Oh well, nothing we can do. Had that number for quite a few years so was hoping to keep the same number.

You could try ringing them in case the number hasn't been re-allocated yet.

The same will apply, you only buy the use of that number, it's your job to keep it active.
