so I've been with o2 for about 5 years now and I got an Email this morning saying the rewards system was changing but I'd keep my 1 month early upgrade, I was mystified as my bills vary from 50-120 pounds a month so I should be in priority gold with a three month early upgrade! (the threshold is £799 in a twelve month period and I clear that with ease!)
I phoned customer services and spoke to two very disinterested girls, the first just passed me around a bit, the second said it was o2's fault, she couldn't do much about it, I politely asked if there was someone who could at least look at the problem and I got cut off! called back and was put on hold for 8 minutes..
c'mon o2.. I spend a lot of money with you guys and enjoy the benefits of an early upgrade and good customer service.. all of a sudden I've been robbed of both!
so.. whats my best course of action? I'm definitely not letting this lie!

yesssssss... i agree I've been with 02 for a long time and have just (14th april) upgraded to a new Iphone 4s (very happy) which should/would have moved me to platinum and given me a 6th month early upgrade on my 24 month contract.. but no I'm now on a 1 month WTF!!!! after looking at the newer contracts it seems that 02 have decided to reward people early upgrades on the basis of there new contracts alone.. so the more you pay a month the fast you can upgrade.. so you can only upgrade 3 or 6 months early if your paying over £46 a month!!!! who is going to do that when orange/ vodaphone etc are way way cheaper!!! 02 are really going backwords with this in order to keep/lock customers into contracts on the basis that maybe the iphone 5 is on the way and will do the usual you can buy out your contract for £xx to get another upgrade.. so so wrong but how do you complain about this???? plus they dont tell you this in the store when you upgrade which is sort of misleading as i probably wouldn't have upgraded and left o2 for a better previder..
