Pay-As-You-Go tethering and mobile hotspot

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi all,

I've recently purchased a Microsoft Lumia 550 running Windows 10 Mobile on O2 Pay-As-You-Go with the £10 Big Bundle, which includes 500 MB of data usage.

I've noticed that the Lumia 550 has a "Mobile hotspot" feature and I'd like to be able to use this to connect my iPod Touch to use a small amount of data.

I've read elsewhere that tethering is not allowed on O2 Pay-As-You-Go and that the mobile hotspot feature is considered tethering.

Can this be confirmed, please.

Many thanks.

Yes, it is tethering and no, not possible on PAYG, sorry.
