O2 want to close my email account, fine I'll cancel my phone contract and move provider

I do not want the mother of changing my email address on my bank accounts and the countless other amenities that I use on line. I cannot find an email address to contact customer services so i'll see if they monitor this service board. The simple fact is when I first took out my contract I got the use of a free email account, that is why I joined and why I have not changed provider. If O2 close my email account I will see that as a breach of contract and move to another phone provider and won't be paying any fees.

Bad idea stopping your direct debit as a free email address was never a part of your contract.

O2 will simply place a marker on your credit record and pass any debt to a collection agency.

O2 do not monitor this, apart from the moderators. This is a customer to customer forum.

I would take the advice that perksie has given you. Changing your email address is not that difficult. It happens all the time. It's just an inconvenience.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

I don't think you read properly or understood stevea's post. Changing your email address maybe easy but updating all the places that you've registered it with can take ages! I know because I spent ages changing mine TO o2 because I changed isp. Now I 've got to do it all again. Yes, for some its "just an inconvenience" for others its more than that
I might be stating the obvious but don't forget to change it on your o2 account as well or where are they going to send their emails to.
