O2 open code questions

Hi there I'm fortunate enough to be able to use an open code and hope to do so for a newer iphone in September, my question is this is the discount available on all phones or just not the newest one? I've had various responses at different O2 shops, also if I have the code to text do I have to go via O2 shop or could it be applied if I went O2 online or car phone warehouse but still O2?

The iPhone is usually excluded for a few months after launch of a new model, but after that it is included.
We don't know how long exactly but usually after the initial hype dies down.....

The phone has to come from O2 directly, either shop or online but not CPW or any other independent supplier.....

It can only be applied buying direct from O2.

Usually any phone except the latest iphones.

Until the iPhone is released and O2 make a decision we just don't know if they'll include it.

Wow thanks thanks for your really quick replies 😁 I have the code waiting already just awaiting the 9th announcement see what I'm doing hence gathering info, I've read the other post so I know the 5s is ok might upgrade to that.

I've got the 5c at the moment so patiently waiting to see what the 6 has to offer as that was included on launch day for the open code 😉

This open code is something I have heard of but never investigated.. (although maybe I am not eligible yet)

So a question from me...would I get this code when I upgrade?...
