It has been about 72 hours after I submitted the online form which said it should take no longer than 48 hours to complete. So last night I spoke to ab o2 guru who ran through the whole procedure again and said it would take about 4 hours to change. Well 13 hours later and still nothing, my old number was an o2 number on a standard size sim with the text and web tariff, the new one is a micro sim with the pay and go go go tariff, does this cause any problems or is o2 just taking the mick?
