O2 OPEN CODE on 4G Refresh Tariff ?

Can anyone confirm if the O2 OPEN Code discount (30%) can be used yet (or maybe in the near future) against the new 4G Refresh Tarrifs ?

If not.. WHY NOT ???

Yes they can only be used on Refresh but the iPhone 5S is excluded:

OK thanks Perksie.. I hope you are correct, as the FAQ link does not mention 4G and the info on it is also wrong about having to go to the O2 shop to use your OPEN Code.

You now firstly obtain your OPEN code, then text OPEN to 2020 and when you get a text back from O2 you then reply with your code, mobile no., name & postcode.

That is the process for Friends & Family discounts, I thought the Open Code was different?

I was told I could use a 30% discount code from my employer and activate it by text message. I did this and was told it would be actvated within 48 hrs. This has not happened, so I have just tried again. I hope it works this time as I took an expensive tariff on the understanding that the discount made it affordable, so if I don't get the discount I will not be happy.

As long as you do it within 30 days of taking the contract you will be fine.
