I've finally bitten the bullet and moved to pay monthly. After a lot of messing round by O2 I finally got a sim and it has now swapped to my old number.
I originally opted for the £20 sim only tariff with unlimited texts, unlimited calls and 3GB but then I saw the £25 sim only tariff with an extra 3GB of data.
I've asked O2 3 times to swap it and they keep saying they will but it still hasn't changed. My phone was meant to go off this morning to change over but it went off last night.
So now I'm finally on pay monthly, what have I been missing? Any perks?
I have tried to set up Tugo but it won't work yet 😞

Yes i have migrated my number - but originally I had a blank sim and it had to swap to the pay monthly number before I could migrate it.

It migrated yesterday so maybe you're right it will take a few days - i just wish O2 advisors wouldn't tell me that it'll happen in a few hours.
