I've finally bitten the bullet and moved to pay monthly. After a lot of messing round by O2 I finally got a sim and it has now swapped to my old number.
I originally opted for the £20 sim only tariff with unlimited texts, unlimited calls and 3GB but then I saw the £25 sim only tariff with an extra 3GB of data.
I've asked O2 3 times to swap it and they keep saying they will but it still hasn't changed. My phone was meant to go off this morning to change over but it went off last night.
So now I'm finally on pay monthly, what have I been missing? Any perks?
I have tried to set up Tugo but it won't work yet 😞

Well voicemail use now comes out of your minutes and you get more data.

And upgrades on your phone on full blown pay monthly contracts.

I agree with the allowance thing.

On PAYG I got 300 or 400 minutes, 3000 or 4000 texts and 2GB (which I easily went over) and now on pay monthyl its unlimited calls, unlimited texts and 3GB of data for the same price (£20).  However the £25 tariff looks more enticing as it offers 6GB of data.

I have spoke to about 4 O2 staff and i'm still waiting for the tariff to be altered 😞

I'm sure they'll adjust it for you in due course and up your monthly payments.

Apparently it will be adjusted at midnight - that is coming from livechat O2 people so fingers crossed they're right.
Still no Tugo though 😞

I assume you have migrated your number across? If so, it will take a few days for the system to update so that it recognises you as a contract customer for Tugo to work.
