I am on a monthly contract. If I buy a pay and go phone will my SIM work in it?

There's no need to go through the 4g set up process at all anyway.
All contracts are now 4g and it should be enabled on your account automatically these days.
If not, just call cs and they will do it.

No need to go through the setup.

You need :

  • A 4G Phone
  • A 4G sim 
  • A 4G tariff 
  • 4G enabled on the phone

If you still have problems call customer services to ensure 4G is enabled on your account.

Not so much read, but when I was reviewing deals for my upgrade most offerings had 4G. IIRC there were a few 3G plans out there but not many.

Only the big bundles do

 

the big talker & international sims don't have 4G tariffs
