Whichever way you cut it, we won't know until o2 announce it and as yet, they haven't.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Not all carriers(internationally) announce the support of VoLTE and some may just suddenly appear on their phones and be able to make calls.

Then as soon as O2 do, you will know it

I don't know why my funny Chinese phone has problems with non-Chinese VoLTE.

Carrier file 25.0 has no support for volte in ios 10.0.1 so unless a new carrier file is launched on tuesday we will not get volte. you only get the option to toggle 4g on / off not the voice and data switch

I would have expected a full press release of this big tech leap.

I have asked apple and o2 on twitter https://twitter.com/G1TWB/status/774538734742212608  why the page here states o2 have volte on iphone 6 and above https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT204040 updated 28th june 2016 @Toby can you assist

as per screen grab post 13 http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Pay-Monthly-and-Pay-Go/Is-VoLTE-working-now/m-p/991986#M116377 that option is not in carrier file 25.0

Unless O2 suddenly shy away from TuGo I don't see them changing the carrier file.  Totally wrong in my opinion, a phone on any network should be able to be utilised to the manufacturers specifications.
