have we got any release date as yet on this cheeky little update? it surley must be within the next few weeks, the chinese whispers of the world was saying 21st July. however no update released still just 7.1.2

Ill be happy when this is released too and i can link it to my mac. Wont be until September though. Usually third week in Sept too.

What you may find is that Yosemite and iOS 8 will be released in a staggered format.

Agreed. I think the latest rumor is Yosemite is Oct and IOS8 Sept.

Sounds plausible.

I couldn't believe it when apple have OS X Mavericks for free and now Yosemite which I'll be putting on my MacBook Air.

If they introduce the next line of iPhone(s) in Sep then they'll ship iOS 8 with the new units probably in Oct.
