I reluctantly took out another contract on o2 after being charged £400 before for data I never used. But anyway, I just checked my tariff and it is saying I have 500mb data (perfect) unlimited texts (great) and 50 mins of calls... wait a minute... I am supposed to be getting 500 mins of calls!!! I haven't even recieved the phone yet and they are bloody messing me about! Feel like cancelling it before I even get it

It will be pro rata until the first day of your new billing cycle.
You will get the full allowance then and it will say in your My O2 which day it will update (prob tomorrow)
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:

Once the billing date has been produced by the system you will get your full allowances. Don't worry, it's normal.

Wouldn't the data allowance be pro-rata too in this case?

Might be worth speaking to customer services via phone or Livechat just to be sure.
