Europe only roaming

Anonymous
Not applicable
I asked O2 to turn off roaming because my iPhone kept making pocket calls and, when travelling outside Europe, this resulted in big bills. However I would like to roam in Europe. Do O2 allow you to activate European roaming only whilst retaining bar on non European roaming?

No it is either all our none.

The best option is to select the network manually in settings so as not to stray onto a bordering countries network.

The phone shouldn't make pocket phone calls if you have it pin protected.

I also think it's important that you do a bit of homework before you go...so you can see what roaming agreements are in place

Use screen lock.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
