If any one does not know o2 are giving double data on payg mobile broadband so for a £26 top up you get 16gb of data, Might be some help to some one

The "no need for a landline" will be attractive for many, I would imagine ?

Thats correct it runs off the 4g/3g signal so ideal if you have no phone line or slow adsl

I can see it being attractive for some in the above scenario but with broadband and Line packages running around £25 it's not an option I would want tbh.

I tried to replace my landline with a broadband dongle l, but my kids are data mad, Netflix's, YouTube and that online minecraft just to name a few. I've had to take fibre with unlimited data. Last month my dats usage was 300+ gb.

Iam on BT fibre  with outages 

I got a MiFi to supliment the outages. I used 1GB on day one so bought another 8 GB expecting 16GB 

 

I only got 8 GB for almost £30 quid ... Bye Bye game world 😞
