Firstly sorry if this is confusing, but this whole data allowance/usage confuses the lifeout of me.
I use my phone for facebook, emails, twitter etc now and again and have found that my bill is really high when i've used the internet for these things over the month.
I don't stay logged on and i don't go on the sites for ages at a time so i'm confused as to why it charges me so much.
My bill with my free calls/texts is set at £15.50 a month, But after using the internet a few times over a month the bill is always around £35 from the internet use. (this isn't due to using up my free texts or minutes, it is for the uk browsing etc)
I currently only have the free web daily thing, and no other data allowances.
If i get the All rounder data for an extra £6 per month, will i still get charged for internet use, or will this cover what i use it for, or there abouts?
Also one more question.
What is the wifi option on my phone for? And when would it need to be used? I have a Sony Ericsson xperia, hate the phone and cant wait to get rid of it when contract ends.
Any help would be greatfully appreciated, than you ![]()

Web Daily costs up to £1 a day, this is probably where your costs are going.
Adding The All Rounder will cover that up to the 500Mb monthly allowance, and you can keep an eye on your usage in MyO2.
The Wi-fi when switched on will let you connect to any Wi-fi network, such as your own home router if that has Wi-fi and it's free to use as it's paid for.
You can also use O2 Wi-fi Hotspots free when in range, and many pubs and cafes now offer free Wi-fi too.
