A few get caught out by the web daily charge if they leave mobile data turned on.
Apps will access data and run in the background so turn it off on your phone.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

If you tell us which phone you have we can show you how to turn it off, if you're not sure.

The new smart phones are designed to use data.

Web daily takes £1 of your credit each day if you leave mobile data on, use wifi only or a tariff that has data that meets your requirements

thank you, i purchased a PAYG for my wife and specifically asked them to make sure it wasnt connecting to the internet...she only sends txts to her friends. It has charged her £1 a day for 3 months. The manager in the O2 shop has said "well its her own fault". I didnt see anything advising of a £1 a day charge and the annoying thing is i asked them to set it up as we havent a clue!!

Ouch, that's expensive. But I do suggest you read the manual for the phone to understand what turns data on and off to make sure it doesn't happen again.
