Hi all,
I am almost reaching the end of my 24 month contract (iPhone 24 months), and i am currently paying about £36 a month. I realised that I don't use up much texts and minutes so paying £36 a month has been a waste.
I recently saw online that I can get a sim only pay monthly deal for £13.50 a month, which has 300 mins, unlimited text and 100mb of data.
I am wondering, can I cancel my renewal in july (i know of the 30 days notice, so I have to tell them on friday basically), and then "downgrade" to the 13.50 paymonthly contract?
Thanks
Mike

Make sure they give you the cheapest deal, because there is currently a special offer on the simplicity tariff, which gives more than you have mentioned and it's cheaper too!
Details are on the O2 homepage.

Thought i'd reply with the outcome of this.
I succesfully "downgraded" to the cheapest simplicity 12 month for iPhone, for £13.50, no hassle what so ever.

Glad you got it sorted
