Is there any way you can barr a call on the Moto G 4G phone

To Restrict Calls:
Tap Menu to open the menu.
Tap Settings.
Tap Security.
Enter your four-digit lock code (originally set to the last four digits of your phone number).
Under Restrictions, tap Update Settings.
Enter the four-digit restriction code (originally set to the last four digits of your phone number).
Tap Done.

Hiya, I've just tried this as I've got the Moto G 4g and when u tap security, where exactly do u enter this 4 digit pin? I think maybe there's a step missing?

Or am I being a bit dim loool (it's still early and I'm only on my second coffee) it's been known open_mouth

@Anonymous hi, thanks for the extra effort, but there's definitely a step missing. I've hit every button in that part of the settings and nowhere am I able (that I can see) to enter a code 😞 hohum, I'd downloaded a call blocker app so it's not an immediate problem.

 

It would've been good if I could get the phones software to block calls though.

 

If u come across any further info, let me know please.

@viridis hmmm I'm not sure I catch your drift? Sorry lol I'm having a stressy day, what would disabling the dialer achieve? It's incoming calls that I'm attempting to bar...

Ahh well I believe the action described is to bar outgoing calls.
To barr all incoming calls just go to call settings and divert all to a old payg number.
