Hi guys,

We communicated and published pages under MyO2 that after 1st Nov 2013, only broadband customers will continue to have access to O2 webmail (both primary and secondary) as part of the sale to Sky. However, when the accounts transfer to Sky their mailbox capacity will reduce from 1GB to 20MB.

Additional home broadband services like ‘Email to mobile’ and ‘Calendar’ were also closed as part of the o2.co.uk email closure.

What was the official explanation for those that didn't transfer to Sky...?
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Quite a few who didn't transfer to Sky still have email. Are we right to continue to advise that they transfer to another email client.....?

Hi guys,

I have asked everyone who has had O2 email confusion to send me a private message so that we can ascertain what is going for those affected. I have only received one as of yet. This makes it hard for us to investigate.

 Toby,

Having continued O2 email isn't a problem for me, though I'd be happy for you to have a look at it if it helps to sort out others' confusion. I tried the direct contact option on your page, but it doesn't seem to work!

As above we were all advised in 2013 that it was closing down, there is no further support even if yours is still working, best to dump it and get another email account.

If you're getting mail and can't open that suggests a problem with the device you're using.
