Hi, i recently tried to purchase a tablet from the o2 shop and on the final step of payment it failed for some reason..
So i tried again on a different computer and that same thing happened, it failed on the final step (this is after putting my card details in).
However when i checked my bank balance, the amount for 2 of these tablets has been taken (gone from "available balance" ) and i was just wondering what happens now? should the funds get bounced back into my account since the payment apparently failed?
I was going to wait a few days to see if the payment goes in, but wanted to post incase anyone could give me some assurance

Normally the payment is reserved and would become available to yourself after around 5 days. You could contact customer service to check whether the sale went through or not.

And I would act pretty urgently on this (Contacting your bank immediately)...
My other half had exactly the same happen to him when buying a laptop.
He was assured that only one payment had been taken (by the retailer) However according to our bank TWO transactions had taken place and he had to stop one of them...:smileysad:

As thought two transactions had occurred (similar to my experience)
Keep checking your bank is my advice..... If you ring the bank they can always tell you if a return transaction is pending....something you cant see yourself online..
