Can't/won't/don't believe that for a second!!!!!
Like others I still await the arrival of 3G.

Come to think about it, reliable 2G would be a step forward.

The European Space agency can land a probe on a comet after launching ten years ago and with a 30 MINUTE delay on communication, it would appear that O2 has difficulty with terrestrial comms.

I think we have skipped a few years.

Tomorrow is 15th November 2017 and we will all be using our o2 smartphones to make calls on 4g, data on 3g and 4g and the 2g network will have been disconnected and no longer in use.

Yep April 1st it must be

But I keep reading O2 spend £1.5million each day on improving their network !.....surely that must be true ?

"We are currently undertaking an unprecedented network Modernisation programme across the UK. We’re investing £1.5million every day in rolling out our new 4G network and upgrading our current 2G and 3G networks."
