Hi all,
yesterday eveining through to at least this morning in the Orpington area, I was unable to send text messages, or make calls, as my iPhone said no signal. I got signal when I reached Orpington station.
Does anyone know if there were/are operating difficulties?
Thanks in advance

Hi Leonard,
Thanks for the link. Tried it for my postcode, and got 4 icons and status descriptions.
One (with the red button) says local mast is not working, and the other 3 (with the green bars) for voice, 3g, and 3g900 say Normal coverage is good.
A bit confusing. Let's hope things are ok when I get home.
Ted

I live in the East Sussex area and the signal here has been rubbish for the last three weeks.
Yesterday I had "emergency calls only" for over an hour and it took 2 hours for a text to arrive.
Travelling in Northamptonshire, Bucks, Leicestershire and Derbyshire 4 weeks ago and lost signal more time than had one. I have been with o2 for many years but will not be renewing my contract with O2 next time.

I've been having issues nearly every night since the big O2 signal failure. Each morning I look at my phone and it has no signal. I have to switch my phone off and on again to get it going again. Sometimes it doesn't work and I am without signal for a few hours. And even with signal, I have been having issues sending messages. Anyone know if these issues are connected with the big outage?
