O2 Travel

Not applicable

Hi, I am travelling around Europe next month and was looking into options on how to use my pay monthly phone outside the uk.

I came across the O2 travel bolt on and thought it would be very useful.

When I went onto my O2 app on my phone it said the O2 travel bolt on is already active and the monthly cost is free.

Does this mean I'm ust regisered for the service and still have to pay when I go away? Or is it already active and ready for use?

It means you are all set.
You will only pay £1.99 per day on the days you use data.
If you make calls you will be charged a 50p connection fee and the call time will come out of your UK allowance. To receive calls you will also be charged 50p, both of these are for up to 1 hour of call time.
Texts are 7p to send and free to receive.
Data is unlimited and charged at the daily rate from midnight to midnight UK time.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

So is anyone at O2 doing anything about this impending change in tariff on 7th April ? Millions of users will stop using it if it goes ahead and simply use whatsapp or Skype to call
