O2 Age Verification - Redirection

All of a sudden when I try to log into certain sites (betfair for example), my browser gets redirected to the following page:
http://bango.net/O2AV/wAV.aspx
This has suddenly started happening today, and to be honest my spider senses start twitching when seemingly random sites start asking me for credit card details, especially ones that say they are O2 but have a web address that has bears no resemblance to the official site.
Anybody else had this?
Had what appeared to be a random spam email in my mobile broadband inbox today (which obviously you have no choice but to read cos the softare automatically opens all new messages regardless of who they are from!), so concerned it might be something nasty that has infected the modem/software as they both operate the other side of my firewall (I assume).
Any advice would be appreciated!

O2 are removing over the phone just call customer services and explain your problem and get them to manually remove

o2 are only removing if you have a contract mobile people using pay as you go are being told there is nothing they can do for us so if u have no credit card and cant get to a shop then its ur issue it is illegal for o2 customer services to remove the block thanks o2 u certainly have messed this up

I want to attempt to use my card again before phoneing them up.
o2 fix this.
2 sites that i visit, that are not porn, for some bizzare reason are age restricted ???

So debit cards dont work. Thats why my card details have not been working.
Can i phone them up with a debit card ?
Or do you need a credit card to do this ?

If pay monthly just ring the normal number if on payg you need photo id at a shop as far as i understand it

o2 are only removing if you have a contract mobile people using pay as you go are being told there is nothing they can do for us so if u have no credit card and cant get to a shop then its ur issue it is illegal for o2 customer services to remove the block thanks o2 u certainly have messed this up

Any customer can visit O2 store regardless of pay monthly or pay&go with a photo ID to verify their age. All the options are available for all types of customers to complete their age verification (ie via credit card, call, o2 store).
Could you please drop me a PM which particular store has refused to do so or given any different information to you?

Oops! Sorry, I thought OP was denied from a O2 store.
Okay, if the customer doesn't have a credit card and cannot visit the O2 store for any reasons, I'd suggest they call our customer services who'll be able to help. Although it may take longer than other channels (up to 48 hours)
