NEEDS O2 HELP ASAP.Deleted my contract with O2 and have an outstanding bill to pay. Now I am abroad.

Need help from the O2 team on this matter ASAP. I recently deleted my O2 account and contract since Im moving out of the country for good. So after deleting my contract I still have an outstanding bill to pay as I had to use my phone for emergency purposes during my last few days in the uk. Since Im back in Malaysia now, I've got an email from O2 to pay my outstanding bill. But when I tried opening my bill account statement, it doesn't want to open! How am I suppose to pay this bill?! Don't even try asking me to call them as the tarifs to call them is even more expensive! All I want is to have someone from O2 who I can correspond directly without the trouble of phoning!

Hi @Anonymous

I am sorry but no-one from O2 will phone you. You cancelled the contract so it is up to you to contact them

http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus   The number from abroad is +44 3448090202 (Free)

If you are desperate to get in touch with O2 as a matter of urgency....you could try live chat...though we normally don't recommend them to sort out account issues http://www.o2.co.uk/mobile/chatnow

As a last resort get someone in the UK to pay the bill and pay them back. Easy enough now with banking apps allowing you to pay a person simply via mobile number.

Oh too bad..I wasn't close to anybody when I was in UK so it will be pretty awkward to ask them to help me to pay for my bills although I will for sure pay them back!

The number is free from an O2 phone, but not any other network.
