I have just downloaded My O2 onto my HTC Desire and tried to log in. I got a message saying there was no account, what utter rubbish, I am signed on here now on the pc with the same details. Is this a normal malfunction of this app

The app works fine, I have no problems with it, are you using your full email address to sign in?

If I try and log in with my email address it says account not found, if I try with my id it says incorrect log in details. As you see here I can access on the pc fine so it must be the app

Hi there, are you trying the exact same format of username/ email address as you do on the website whilst logging in? Also have you tried deleting and re-installing the app yet?
If the issue still persists on the app, drop me a PM with your mobile number and username/ email address so I can investigate the issue and resolve it for you.

If it's ok on your pc and won't work on the phone it suggests the password or user name is being entered wrongly, such as having an extra space or similar.
