Is 4G coverage planned for Moray Coast

I recently enjoyed a 4G signal, whilst visiting family in the Central belt of Scotland.  As I only get a 2G signal most of the places in my area or sometimes no signal I was wondering if anyone knows if O2 plan to upgrade their coverage in my area?

Am using the chrome android browser, sometimes I use the default one on my Note 3 or Firefox but in general Chrome is as good as any functionally and I'm so used to it I rarely use the others 👍👍👍

Ah, so from mobile you need to scroll to bottom of page and enable "full" (desktop) view.

Have recently been connecting to o2 4G in a couple of other places around the Highlands now. Once along the Brahnn road approaching Maryburgh and in Dalneigh in Inverness.

Is o2 testing their infrastructures ability to broadcast 4G up here or is it some kind of atmospheric effect increasing their range.

The original spot I connected to it 4G still works perfectly, I deliberately choose to take my tacho break there when heading north because of it slight_smile

It says nothing at all but there are definite pockets and areas of 4G coverage up here.

One is permanent and I could take you to where it is anytime day or night and I guarantee you could get o2 4G.

Am I the only one in the Highlands who has noticed this recently. Surely someone in Cromarty, Alness or regularly drives the A9 passing Alness has picked it up to??

Despite what o2 has stated that there is no network 4G coverage up here there absolutely is but what really annoys me is travel 5 miles either way and I can't even get a decent 2G signal.

From Golspie,Brora,Helmsdale right up past the Berridale Braes I might aswell switcch my phone off, all it's useful for is telling the time. The same down a lot of Speyside and Moray!!!

4G in my area started off in a little village of around 200 people 3 miles from my home. It was like that for two months until they upgraded my two local masts.
