Can you state when O2 are going to accredit Gingerbread 2.3.3 update for the Galaxy Mini on Tesco pay as you go. I understand O2 is the carrier. The PDA NUMBER IS S5570XWKE3.
I would love to enjoy the benefits of Gingerbread 2.3.3.
Well o2 are the underlying carrier but they will not provide accreditation for other networks! If your Galaxy mini is a Tesco PAYG and locked to it, then only Tesco can say if they will do it. If its an unlocked version then you will need to check the manufacturers website for further info.
thank you for the reply. but the actual firmware update is on the 02 site, it is just waiting for accreditation. Plus it actually states it is for Tesco pay as you go. I would have thought the carrier would be responsible for accreditation of new firmware. I don't believe there is a section on the tesco mobile phone website for checking the status of new firmware.
Hi Maul04 I to am waiting very Patiently for o2 to finally get around to updating us from crappy froyo to gingerbread. It seems that half the world has already been updated but us. Any news yet when we look like we will get the update?
