As we all know, capacity issues continue to haunt the networks and o2 are frequently criticised for this.

EE and Three are to work with CityFibre to expand the use of Dark Fibre to expand capacity and reduce dependency on BT in the future.

but what options does o2 really have?

with the increasing bandwidth utilisation, im now at 30% what i used to get due to congestion.

I suspect this is where Vodafone will do well as they own their own fibre network.

O2 have recently done a deal on bringing more fibre capacity however our insatiable demand for data shows no sign of abating. At what point will fibre start to see congestion. ...
