CityFibre to Expand Use of Dark Fibre with EE & Three

As we all know, capacity issues continue to haunt the networks and o2 are frequently criticised for this.

EE and Three are to work with CityFibre to expand the use of Dark Fibre to expand capacity and reduce dependency on BT in the future.

with the increasing bandwidth utilisation, im now at 30% what i used to get due to congestion.

I suspect this is where Vodafone will do well as they own their own fibre network.

O2 have recently done a deal on bringing more fibre capacity however our insatiable demand for data shows no sign of abating. At what point will fibre start to see congestion. ...

Won't be long, even sub oceanic cables can only carry so much.

Unfortunately we are so far behind now that it's going to take a few generations to even catch up at best
