Azzurri

Well I'm still waiting for Azzurri to send me my 32Gb iPhone 4.

I appreciate they are in short supply, but I get really annoyed that all my friends have iPhone 4's now and even my brother in law picked up a 32gigger from his local carphone warehouse store last week.

grrrrr

Re: Azzurri

We have been waiting 5 weeks for two HTC desires from azzuri as upgrades, they keep telling me the delivery date has changed and they are out of stock yet a friend of mine has just recieved one on a personal o2 contract?. Now when i try and contact Azzurri all i get on direct numbers and main number is answerphone? Where are they all?? I have two engineers with broken phones waiting on new ones and its affecting business!! I have to say so far i am appauled at the service we have recieved. We have been with o2 for about 6 years now and this might very well be the end. Time to call Vodafone!

Re: Azzurri

I deal with Azzuri on a daily basis (for other issues I may add) and they can be VERY hit and miss. Try writing to them, instead of getting ignored on the phone. Sorry, that's all the advice I can give - and Vodafone are more expensive than O2.

Re: Azzurri

I have just been made aware of this situation today;
I have called o2 today to confrim the date for my upgrade. I knew it was around this time (just after christmas)but wasn't sure of the exact date.
When I got through the lady then told me that as I upgraded on 31st May I would be unable to upgrade again on 31st May...the conversation below then followed;
Me: I didn't upgrade last May. It was January.
Lady: It says here May. Are you sure?
Me: Yes. It was snowing so I had to wait an extra week for it to be delivered.
Lady: I'll have another look...It says we sent you an iphone 3gs on 8th Jan...
Me: Yes, thats it...
Lady: But then you upgraded in store with one of our partners in May..
Me: This didn't happen. I have had no phone since January..
Lady: Well I'll have to check but it says you got a new phone from Azzurri in May.
Me: I didn't. Who are Azzurri??
Lady: They are one of our partners. I will check...
15 minutes later...
Lady: Thanks for holding. Azzurri have told us you upgraded on 31st May. We have put a call in and they have to prove to us that they gave you a new phone and upgraded you in May. In which case we can't upgrade you until a year is passed. The account is blocked.
Me: OK. Well I definately didn't upgrade in May..I don't even know how that would be possible as I had only had a new contract for 5 months.
Lady: Yes. They shouldn't have upgraded you for a year.
Me: They didn't. I've never heard of them who are they?!
Lady: They're a bit like Carphone warehouse...Would you like their number?
Me: No thanks. I'll wait to hear from you.
Lady: OK. Could be up to 5 days...
Now im concerned. I know I didn't upgrade/change tarrif/ contract in May. I have never heard of Azzurri and don't really understand who they are. I am not going to contact them as I don't see the need as I have not had any dealings with them...
I have never been with any network other than o2. For the past 12 years I have been a loyal customer. I have never had any probelms with them which is why I have stuck with them. Their customer service has always been prompt and fantasic. They've always done me a good deal.
I even pay for o2 broadband instead of having free broadband from sky becasue I am confident that when there's a problem. They will fix it.
However i'm worried now...If this matter isn't resolved I will consider taking my business elsewhere. Especially as it seems a lot of people have problems...

Re: Azzurri

I've also just been made aware of this company after queuing in an O2 store for a few hours, to be told that Azzurri were now handling my contract.
Unfortunately they don't work on bank holidays, so were not available on Monday or Tuesday, finally today I have got through to someone, who is looking into why I have a new contract which should have ended this month, but somehow this has become 2012!!
I do not see how this contract was transferred without my knowledge and a new two year term was imposed without me receiving any information regarding this situation. I don't understand why they should be handling O2 contracts if they cannot answer the phone for days at a time.
My advice would be to avoid Azzurri at all costs

Re: Azzurri

Same thing has happened to me. I went to upgrade in September and was told by O2 customer services that I upgraded in may and was now with Azzurri (who the **** are Azzurri?). Of course, like most of the other customers on this thread I never agreed to a change of contract or upgrade, nor did I ever recieve a new phone.
Now January and I must have made 10 or 15 calls to O2 customer services and the whole thing rumbles on. From the calls I have made to Azzurri it is apparent that they are a less than reputable company who are predominantly in the business of, what is known as an erroneous transfer. i.e. the telesales person says that they spoke to you and you agreed to move your contract. By the time it becomes apparent what's going on Mr Azzurri has emptied the business bank account, bought a yacht in his wife's name and declared himeself bankrupt.
What amazes me is that O2 have been caught out by these charlatans and made them a partner agency. It is also disappointing that they are unwilling to do anything about it. When it finally gets resolved I will be leaving O2 having been a customer for 13 years back to when they were BT Cellnet. My husband will also be cancelling his contract and we'll be going to someone else for our home broadband. All in all that's £1200 a year they will be losing, not that they care about the paultry sums of money, who they do business with or their loyal customers.

Re: Azzurri

Dear O2,
I a very rarely one to complain about a poor customer experience, being a tolerant kind of person. But It appears that I have been subject to the Azzurri Communications business account scam too. My ongoing experience is now so bad that I am driven to complain in a public internet forum in the hope that someone somewhere at O2 cares enough to do something about it, and other business customers are aware of this customer service debacle.
I have a business account with O2 with a number of handsets and data plans.
It appears that some of those handsets contracts have been passed over for handling by Azzurri Communications without my consent.
How did I notice this? The bill costs almost doubled.
What can I do about it? Nothing, it would appear. I am 'in contract' with Azzurri Communications until November on part of the account (some handsets and data plans) despite the fact that the primary business account is out of contract and with O2.
And now I cannot negotiate and review my business contract as a whole, because it is being managed in two different places, with two different companies.
How did this happen? Nobody knows, ask a straight question, and get very evasive answers. It appears that if you speak to O2 it is Azzurri, and if you speak to Azzurri it is O2.
What can I do? Nothing apart from raise a 'partner dispute form' with O2.
What can O2 do? Nothing, because the accounts are with Azzurri Communications.
Very, very annoyed about this O2. I have always had a good customer service experience in the past, but it has just fallen off a cliff.
After 17 years as a customer since your Cellnet days you are within a hair's breadth of losing my business.
That I am driven to the internet to complain should speak volumes to you.
Sort it out.

[ Edited ]
Azzurri reportedly chose the solution to replace its 'home grown' internal service management system and include asset management functionality into the overall solution.
No financial details were disclosed.

Re: Azzurri

I've just done a mid term upgrade with Azzuri to an iPhone 4S. Arrived 2 days ago, not bad considering it was only launched less than a week ago.
got a great price on the upgrade too :smileyhappy:
