Auto-dialling using O2 International calling card

This might be an obscure question but I'm thinking about getting an O2 International Calling Card for my (retired) parents - and they are worried about having to enter access codes and PINs etc. every time they want to make an international call.

So I was wondering if anybody knows if it is possible to use the O2 International Calling Card in a completely "automatic" way by entering the access numbers, PIN code and destination number (and any other required pauses or key-presses) in the phone's address book? 

That way - for each international number they wanted to call - they would simply select fromt the address book - and the phone would do all the keypresses for them automatically.

Anybody know if this is possible?

You should be able to do this. Taken from FAQ's on O2 Calling cards

If you key **1 at any point after entering your PIN and before the connection of a call you can link the card you are calling from to your phone. This means you do not have to enter the PIN next time you call from that handset. Remember if you want to use a different calling card (for example when you run out of balance) you will need to remove the link. You can do this by keying **0 when you dial the access number.
