The one big advantage for some is that when in credit you get free unlimited Wi-Fi access at certain hotspots.

You're welcome.

I assume a fixed line service is not possible.

Let us know what you decide and how it works for you.

Catch 22 three years ago BT cut me off (accidentally) failed to reconnect me and after 7 days of calling them they announced they had given my number back to NTL !!

I went BALLISTIC and took it to very senior management level but was told NTL refused to hand it back and BT was helpless !! So I told them to get stuffed Since then have had Broadband from the shop next door in return for taking in an occasional parcel but now the shop has closed

Added complication is I no longer run a bank account Too add insult to injury there is a Virgin box outside my front door with an OPTICAL feed 'So near but so B**** far' Know where I can get a cheap carrier pigeon ? Smiley Mad Smiley Mad
