Does any body know how to power down a Nokia lumia every time I power off and try to change it it turns it self on

Plug in charger first, then turn it off.

Is it connected to the charger at the time? If so it will automatically turn back on... from what I have just read...

It used to be a feature of Lumia phones that they would always turn on once a connected charger is plugged in. I had the same think with my 1020

Not just Lumia, it's all windows phones and iPhones do it too.
