receiving the same message 2-3 times regularly and extra costs

hello

 

I have a Microsoft Lumia 435 - regularly i get the same text message 2-3 times  - why is this and i can i stop it.

 

also i do not exceed my data allowance but my bill is always more than expected - why is this.  do you get charged for sending a photo by text - which i very rarely do

Duplicate texts are usually a sim card problem, so try a sim swap (any O2 shop will do this for you).
Any additional charges on your bill will be shown in your MyO2 http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2 and yes, picture messages are 40p each.

Usually a sim problem for repeated text messages. Get it swapped at the o2 store free.

Yes you get charged for sending picture messages and even emoticons in some cases.
