nokia e72, wap issue

Hi i have a nokia e72 phone on pay as you go. I am recieving wap texts regarding low funds to use data. I dont want to use data and these texts are every few minutes. how can i stop these?! thanks

Not sure how you do it on a Nokia e72 but the safest way never to use network data would be to remove or edit the APN settings

To contact O2 click "Contact us" at the bottom of any O2 page, and click the service you need, or wait for "Live Chat" to appear.

Try these settings:

Control panel > settings > connection > packet data > then change to when needed.

Access point - delete wap.o2.co.uk

High Speed packet access - disable

If you ever want to use data, then just text 'ACTIVE' to 2020 or enable wifi.
