Hi all, Wonder if anyone can help - I have an XDA Orbit and I have damaged the screen to the point where I can only see a small section at the bottom right hand corner. I need to retrieve my contacts from the phone but don't know how to do it, or if it's even possible. Can anyone help? Thanks
Easiest way might be to use outlook and active sync. There is a desktop remote connection software that uses active sync that may work: http://www.sparus-software.com/support/remote and free. You could then export your contact list and then extract it using the file explorer on the pc. Alternatively, a quick search on ebay finds me a replacement screen for about £15. If you are willing to try to repair it yourself that is!
Hi sheepdog, Many Thanks for the quick reply, that software download did the trick and I managed to copy the contacts to my SIM I'll order a replacement screen and try to fix it - what's the worst that can happen Cheers Wayne
