Can anyone please clarify if this phone will work in the USA? My daughter is going to New York next week and we can't find this out from Blackberry or anywhere else! Many thanks.

Yes, it will work fine on the US frequencies but you need to check with CS to make sure you have International roaming enabled before you travel.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Hi

In this link are the frequencies it works on http://www.gsmarena.com/blackberry_curve_3g_9300-3422.php

You need to check which USA networks operate in the area your going to and see if it's comparable.

It's also expensive to use an O2 sim in the states.

Perhaps get the handset unlocked here https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/help/help?qid=1&q1=2&route=unlocking&case=Handset%20Unlocking%20Form free to contract customers and £15 to Payg T&C apply and use a local SIM card.

Be aware some USA networks charge to receive texts.

Or use Tugo if your on a monthly contract.

Be Happy !!
