Does O2 have any plans to support this feature when WP8.1 is released?

No problem, it would be nice to know a rough date as to when the Secure/Payment SIMs will be available and how to get one.

Indeed!

The HTC one Mini 2 also supports this feature.

Any news on this? It's pretty much the end of July and there hasn't been any official news that Tap to Pay will be available from O2?

If it's indeed coming, I'm a bit worried that this is another feature that is going to need their firmware, even though it is already part of the default firmware.

i am also awaiting o2 to make use of this feature. o2 are showing nice support for windows phone, each store i have visited has a stand exclusively for demoing windows phones.
and on the phones themselves as far as i am aware they are the only provider that supports visual voicemail, which is great.
Their updated my o2 app is great, and now tugo has arrived also!
I just need this secure sim to use my phone for contactless payments, hopefully apples announcement of payment ability in iphone 6 will push more development for other phones.
Come on o2, let me pay with my phone too! grin
