Yeah, I had had a look for you to see if anyone else was having the same problem but I couldn't find any hence why I couldnt offer any advise.

There is a new update coming soon to BBM on iPhone and Android so hopefully that will help. My only suggestion would be that all the notifications could be from Group Chats if you have been included in any?

I don't have groups on my BBM.  I get notifications of messages and BC's from people who aren't even my contacts.  It's strange! Not a major issue though. Hopefully it'll be sorted after the new update, or if Blackberry give me some answers, whichever is first.

You can block those you don't want to hear from in BBM.

You can create new groups too.

I know I can block requests but I haven't got that option because when I open the app there's nothing there

It works for me:

1. Open your App and tap on contacts list.

2. Touch and hold a name.

3. Tap Delete. delete-bbm-contact

4. To prevent the person from being able to send you invitations in BBM, select the Block Future Invitations checkbox.

5. Tap Delete and you’re done.

Thank perksie but as I said, I don't have these contacts in my contact list and that is the issue that I am having with BBM and I am waiting for Blackberry to get back to me on a solution.

So what you mean is that the app isn't working!

Yes perksie - I thought I made that clear to Papadug - the issues are mentioned in this thread: http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Apple-iOS-Devices-iPhone-iPad/BBM-for-iPhone/m-p/599402/highlight/true#...

I can't see that thread from this one, which is why questions should be kept in one place.

I'll leave you to sort out it out as you've sent this thread off topic, when you have another one running for the same problem! Smiley Indifferent
