Just received a new sim with cradle to change from pay as you go to monthly contract, tried to put the sim in and it would not fit as I removed it it snapped off the prongs now I can't even put my old sim in:( any ideas

If you look in there closely can you see if one or more of the prongs are sticking up too
High not allowing the sim in

To avoid any further damage I would suggest you at least go into an O2 shop to get them to take a look at it but I think it will have to be sent off for repairs.

I would make a complaint to O2 and tell them their sim adaptor broke your phone and try and get them to reimburse you for the repair

Thanks guys, looks like I've got no option but to take it up with O2 tomorrow, does anyone know if they are open on Sundays?

Yes they are both phone and shops phone lines open 09.00 to 18.00

Check your local shop opening times - It's only major City's that open shops on Sundays.
