Hi,

I bought a new Lumia 900 but I'm struggling with the correct APN settings to get it to use mobile internet and MMS.

In the network setup app the currently selected operator is O2 Prepay

When I edit the settings I currently have

Internet APN

Access point name: mobile.o2.co.uk

Proxy address: http://mmsc.mmc.o2.co.uk:8002

Proxy port: 8080

Username: o2web

Password: password

MMS APN

MMS access point name: O2 Pay Monthly MMS

Proxy address: 193.113.200.195

Proxy port: 8080

Username: o2wap

Password: password

MMSC address: http://mmsc.o2.co.uk:8002

Have I got the correct settings? Is there something else I should be doing?

Problem solved, it was a case of turn it off and turn it back on.

In Network Manager I switch to completely the wrong network, then back to O2 - UK.

Job done.

Can I ask how you aquired your shiny new Lumia 900?  Its availability in the UK on O2 is the subject of much debate at the moment.

It's almost as if nobody has bothered to read my previous posts on this very subject.

Carphone warehouse are now fulfilling their orders for the Lumia 900 including on O2. I received mine this afternoon

Hi - have you managed to send or receive pictures? - I have spent hrs in carphone warehouse finally to be told it's a Nokia software problem on all Nokia 900s - am I being told a load of rubbish?

6 months now unable to send or receive pictures on my lovely new lumia - very frustrated

I have date and internet set up OK

Can anyone help?
