Nokia Lumia 610 Data Network Issue

Anonymous
Not applicable

I had to reset my Lumia 610 a few days back and I have reinstalled all the settings for MMS and Data Network but since then I have not been able to connect to the Internet with a mobile data connection.

I have restarted the handset and turned off my data connection for 24hours and then turned it on again but still nothing I haven't the foggiest how to sort it out and o2 customer services HA!! They where as helpful as a chocolate teapot.

So if anyone has had this problem before and has fixed it can you help me out here please?

Cheers

Check the apn settings once more.

If they appear to be ok then ring 02 Customer Services on 202 for Contract Customers or 4445 for PAYG Customers so they can check your account.

Also check the Service Status near you to ensure your masts are ok.

http://status.o2.co.uk/

So remove your sim to clean it of static build up.

Last resort would be to swap your sim for a new one which can be picked up from a store and performed there or at home by this link.

Be aware it can take from 2 hrs to 24 hrs to fully re activate and typically turning your phone off and in throughout this period helps reset your service.

Have you tried updating the firmware/Operating system on your phone since you reset it?
