I have now had my phone replaced and can confirm the problem still exists. I originally though it was a hardware fault, possibly overheating when left on the charger over night, but can now confirm that the phone does not need to be on charge for it to freeze.

I have tried a factory reset.
I have tried NOT restoring my profile and manually configure it.
I have had the phone replaced (O2 have been very understanding).

It still locks up!

Below for reference is my original thread. At the time of the original roll-out my phone had been lost by O2 during an unrelated repair, when they sent a replacement, it immediatly upgraded. Then my problems began. Finally last week O2 replaced the replacement handset (I had tried all those listed above) but it continues to lock up and stop responding.

I am so frustrated by this I am considering just dumping the phone, I never know if my phone is working so there is little point in having it.

You might be better contacting Nokia, they will refer you to a repair centre or you can send the phone off for investigation.

To be honest no one could blame you at losing confidence in the handset 😞

That would be my preferred option. Contact their customer care online.
