New contract - Windows Phone

Anonymous
Not applicable

Thinking of jumping ship from Android, I don`t have a plethora off apps on my phone but the ones I do use are covered in Windows. Was quite dissapointed in the support for my S3 for if I had not gone down the custom route, I would have been stuck with the buggy 4.3 JB update which was extremely poor. It is a leap of faith for sure but wonder if it is best waiting to see what new phones are coming? 1020 successor ??

bandofbrothers,

I assume you mean the Android version? If not, is your colleague UK based and if so did he get the Verizon or the T-mobile one (assuming it works with no issue in the UK)?

Indeed @Anonymous it would be a miracle if his colleague had this exact phone.......?

Well it means he must have bought it from the US without contract and unlocked it then tested it with a UK SIM if that was the case.

Hence I want to know precisely so I can consider doing the same thing if it works on UK networks.

Anyway, back to answering the question correctly, it would appear that we are unable to help any further and until HTC decide what they are doing we are all in the dark 😞
