It's a tough one, but I think I'd actually prefer a Cyan L900...
Here's hoping someone at O2 takes a breather from Android's and iPhone's dirty behinds and notices the success the Lumia 900 is having in the US. It's about time O2 at least acknowledged the Lumia 900!

Looks like the UK launch is delayed to mid-May now...

Other sites are advertising that O2 are actually releasing the Lumia 900 and you can pre-order it through Carphone Warehouse as O2 as the service provider to be delivered on 14-05-2012 - I've spoken to numerous people at O2 and none of them have given me a direct or straight answer - they won't even say for definite that they are going to offer the 900 on O2. I'm due for an upgrade from now, the 800 would be a total downgrade to my current handset and I really don't want to switch to another service provider. I've been with O2 since day 1 and in all these years I have never had a single problem
Come O2 you're badly letting the side down - why can't you give a straight forward answer??? Other people are speaking for you and giving release dates why not you??? We need to know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow - What big writing you have got. ![]()
If I wanted one I think I would go the CPW route anyway as there is a good chance it will be unlocked stock.

Hi there,
We won't have the Nokia Lumia 900 we're afraid but you can get this through the CPW if you wish

So despite you having the other Lumias, you won't be carrying Nokias flagship handset, despite it supposedly selling by the bucket loads in the US? And those of us who are due an upgrade, we should just go to CPW? You guys must be swimming in money if you can send your customers off to another business?

Perhaps it is down to the fact that the phone may not get Windows 8. If that happens there are going to be a lot of irate people with a phone that is a few months old and out of date.
If I was an independent dealer I would have my doubts too.

I wonder if O2 Dan would be willing to stand by that statement that O2 won't be carrying the Lumia 900?
Ie, if I exercise my option to upgrade now and settle for something else, if in two weeks it turns out O2 will be carrying the 900, will they exchange the handset I've settled for on the basis of Dan's comments?

I would say not because I presume that the information given is correct at the time of his statement. If O2 do change their mind and decide to stock the phone there would be no comeback at all as it would be a new business decision.
