I have given up hope with o2, everyone I know who wants the 900 have now gone through Phones 4 U and got the free headphones and £200 cash back for trading in the old handset. It doesn't bother me too much about my current Titan not going up to WP8 as well as our Mozarts and HD7 as they still run flawlessly, by the time WP8 picks up momentum it will be time for us to all upgrade again anyway.

O2.....Update your customers on the availabilty/delay on the Lumia 900 rather than the BS "we want to ensure a fantastic user experience with any new handset and therefore all handsets are not released until they are ready".
I think it is about time O2 actually explained what is happening with this handset....WHAT IS THE BOTTOM LINE
This is epic customer service FAIL
I'm sure the iphone 5 will roll out the day it is released with plenty O2 brown noses

A number of major European networks have stated that they a wary of taking onboard Nokia until they know whether or not the company has a future. The names of the companies have not been released but it may be that O2 is among them.

Hi Leonard,
As far as i am aware O2 are planning on releasing the handset.
When phones4U had to delay their fulfillment of pre-orders of the Lumia900 they said that it was due to O2 network testing.
Again, as far as i'm aware, O2 thus far haven't clarified the reason other than to say that it isn't ready yet
If O2 are not planning on releasing the handset, fine, say so and i can stop getting angry at the lack of communication
If there is a delay then i would have thought customers would appreciate a genuine explanation rather than an evasive vague answer which only fans the fire of frustration
At the end of the day its basically the same phone as the Lumia800 with advanced technology. Mind; this technology is also found in the Galaxy SIII which if i recall correctly was released pretty sharpish....

i have seen this post and i have seen other posts from O2 stating the contrary
furthermore twitter replies saying the handset won't be released until its ready still leaves the issue up for debate
believe me, i fully agree with you, its far too late and O2 should probably knock it on the head given the release of WP8 is expected in late October and there is no upgrade path to WP8 for current WP hardware
but at the end of the day, the principle still stands, O2 need to let its customers know what they are doing
maybe WP customers are over looked in favour of iphone and android customers...

No, simple forum change no hidden agenda.
